Packaging design for Superbanka, inspired by the energy of sports, embodies the brand's mission — to inspire and energize active individuals with high-quality skincare designed to keep up with their fast-paced lifestyle.
Superbanka is a skincare brand created by Maria Komandnaya, a sports journalist and beauty enthusiast, and cosmetic chemist Ekaterina Karpova. The brand caters to active people who need a customized skincare routine. Our project was to develop a brand identity and packaging design that would resonate with Superbanka's target audience and reflect the founders vision.
We designed a bold, powerful logomark inspired by the aesthetic of sportswear brands that also corresponds to Maria's background in sports journalism. The logomark is central to the new identity and is complemented by a vibrant and energetic color scheme. Expressive illustrations referencing field markings were also incorporated into the design to convey confidence in the brand's mission—to inspire and energize active individuals.
We considered every aspect of the packaging design, from materials to shapes and sizes, and also assisted in the production process. During the product's launch in 2022, we encountered several challenges such as changing the entire color palette because the paper we planned to use was no longer available. Even though the limitations forced us to iterate on our initial choices, the resulting packaging not only looks impressive but is also practical for the end customer. It's durable and portable, making it ideal for people who are always on the go.
